Hotel a Stretto di Mackinac

“When you arrive, you will find the refrigerator OFF and the door open. If you have medication, baby food, dairy products etc. that need to come out of your cooler after a day of travel …into a refrigerator…, if will take 4-6 hours for it to be safe temp. I’ve stayed in thousands of hotels and never encountered a hotel that leaves the refrigerators off and open. The front desk staff and manager on duty seemed surprised that this is not the norm, looked at me like I had 2 heads, told me to make...

“The room was overall clean. The pool and hot tub were pretty clean, the second time we used it they had just treated it with chlorine without notice so it was irritating to sit there. There was confusion with the front desk when we went to purchase tickets for the fort, they told us they didn't sell them, but we were given discounted price sheet when we checked in. It was in a great location, close to downtown. It was a decent place to stay on a budge, probably would stay again.”
